Delicious wholesome food
We attend this restaurant on a regular basis. The chicken soup is quite outstanding - nutritious, well seasoned, flavoursome and almost a meal in itself. All the portions of the main courses are generous, well cooked and imaginatively seasoned. The welcome is warm and friendly and the service is excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Some friends of mine were getting a take away from Ginger and asked if I would like to get something. I am really glad I said. I have been blown away by the food. it is just simply amazing. Made my taste buds come alive. Nice one Chef :)
Restaurant worth visiting
Literaly found it by mistake was having a walk around Cricklewood when stumbled upon it and decided to give it a go,I had a soup and a main course both of em were very delicious as for the portion size it was huge barely could go through it all, been going there ever since.Highly recommended.
I\'m a Briton of Polish origin and my wife and I were having a Sunday stroll from Highgate across Hampstead Heath and then heading for Cricklewood Station, when we came upon this restaurant.
Needing some sustenance we decided to drop in as the restaurant seemed busy and popular.
Service: Friendly and quick (despite it being busy).
Food Choice: Varied and extensive choice of Polish cusine.
Food quality: Excellent (\"zrazy\" like my \"babcia\" i.e. grandma used to make).
Portion size: Outstanding (typically Polish portions) e.g. the \"golonka\" or ham shank!
Beverages: Good selection and good value.
Decor: Pleasant country-style with lots of timber on show.
Cleanliness: Excellent (we both used the loos).
Value for money: Very good
It appeared to be very child friendly.
Although the clientele seemed to be mainly Polish, there was also a smattering of English speaking clients.
I found it odd that there were three TV screens, but the volume was muted, so they were not too obtrusive.
My wife and I particularly liked the \"szarlotka\" apple pie desert and the real coffee (stir it and let the grounds settle before you drink it).
If you want an introduction to proper Polish food, I\'d say you\'d be well served here. We will come back, but it\'s a bit far from where we live.
BEST POLISH RESTAURANT SO FAR
I'VE BEEN EATING IN MANY POLISH RESTAURANTS AROUND LONDON AND HAVE TO SAY THAT NOTHING COMPARE TO GINGER ONE. GREAT FOOD, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE KITCHEN AND LOOK AROUND JUST TO FIND OUT THAT REALLY YOUR MUM IS NOT THERE :P TABLE SERVICE, VERY POLITE, ALWAYS HELPFUL. NICE DESIGN, YOU CAN WATCH TV. DIFFERENT SORT OF PEOPLE, ALWAYS CAN MEET SOMEONE NEW, HAVE A GOOD CONVERSATION, GET A NEW CONTACTS, WHO KNOWS - MAYBE DO A BUSINESS? GENERALLY SPEAKING FOR ME 5 STARS!
My colleagues and I go there on a regular basis for quick lunches. Love the great tasting and reasonably priced dishes! Have not given five stars because many items on the menu are not available, and when you visit often, variety is key. Other than that, it’s a great little local that serves delicious food. Check daily specials (Chef Recommends) on their website - well worth the visit.
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS
HIGHLY RECOMMEND POLISH FOOD TO EVERYONE
The food was very tasty, and I thought reasonably priced too!
I will recommend this one to my friends!!!
